** PANDEMIC UPDATE **
UNFORTUNATELY, ALL OVERSEAS TREKS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR 2020 AND 2021. WE WILL BE ADDING DATES ONCE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN RELAXED.
The Ait Bouguemez valley, or “happy valley” as its dubbed by the French, is located five hours east of Marrakech and is home to some of the most incredible trekking you will find in Morocco. High mountain passes, deep river gorges and lush green plateaus are just some of the features that make up this incredible landscape.
Jbel M’goun is the highest peak in the M’goun massif and third highest in Morocco sitting at an impressive 4071m. Because of the remote nature of M’goun it has far less visitors as it requires an expedition style approach utilising camps to reach its summit.
Our expedition will take you on an incredible five day journey through the most amazing scenery to M'goun basecamp where you will make your summit attempt. The expedition will be led by British Expedition Leader Matt Cooper and Moroccan mountain guide Abdellah. Our highly experienced team of cooks, porters and muleteers will support the expedition ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
Whos it for.
Some hill walking or trekking experience would be beneficial, however a good level of fitness and a desire for adventure is what’s really required for this expedition! If your unsure about your experience why not send us an email and we can discuss further!
