10:30 Head into Ogwen to take on the Glyderau section of the Skyrace Route. This route takes you up and over Tryfans North Ridge and over Glyder Fawr down to Pen Y Pass. We will have lunch at the YHA in Pen y Pass before heading back over Glyder Fawr and down Y Gribin Ridge into Ogwen
16:00 Finish back at the cafe for hot drinks, cake and a debrief.
Sunday
09:00 Meeting at Pen Y Pass we will head up and over Crib Goch* and onto Snowdon Summit. The normal Skyrace route descends the trail back into Rhyd Ddu but we will head over to Lliwedd as these two parts are the most technical of the route and need more time for coaching. We will run over Lliwedd and back to Pen y Pass to finish.
15:00 Finish back at Pen y Pass for a debrief.
** Please note that we may have to change to route if conditions make Crib Goch or Tryfan unsafe. We will offer a suitable alternative to focus on technique if this is the case.
