course info
Two days of guided trail running in the heart of Snowdonia - moving away from the roads and paths - so you can experience the mud and glory of running on trails.
Over the two days our Running Guides will choose the route based on the group experience ensuring you get the most out of the two days. We will take you on some of the most picturesque trails through mountain valleys, over summits and through forests helping you develop your running so you feel more confident and happy to go it alone.
Who is this for
Our two day Trail Running Introduction is perfect for anybody looking to try out trail running so they can run in the outdoors and feel more confident planning and following unmarked routes. You will learn how to plan a route, what equipment and clothing you need, how to navigate as well as receiving coaching and loads of handy tips to improve your running.
You don't need to be a fantastic runner just some previous running experience and the ability to run 10km at a steady pace. We won't be running fast and instead focus on giving you a great experience with plenty of rests along the way and the opportunity to take pictures, relax and enjoy your time with us.
What distance do we usually run?
It's hard to put an exact distance as we chose the route specific to those on the group, but, we often run around 6-8 miles which is broken up by discussions, coaching and lots of food and picture opportunities.
