Yala Peak (5500m) and the Langtang Valley Trek Nepal
Embark on our Yala Peak Expedition, a breathtaking trekking adventure in the Langtang region of Nepal. Perfect for beginner and experienced climbers alike, this 5,500m Himalayan peak offers an unforgettable experience with stunning views of Shishapangma (8,027m)—the only 8,000m peak in Tibet.
The Langtang region offers a stunning trekking experience, combining lush forests, traditional Tamang villages, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. The journey begins with a scenic trek through the Langtang Valley, where rhododendron forests and cascading rivers give way to alpine meadows and towering peaks. As you ascend, the views of Langtang Lirung and surrounding summits become increasingly spectacular. The highlight of the trek is the ascent of Yala Peak (5,520m), a non-technical trekking peak that provides an exhilarating challenge for those with basic mountaineering skills. From the summit, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, and other snow-capped giants stretching into Tibet. This adventure offers an unforgettable blend of cultural immersion and high-altitude achievement in one of Nepal’s most scenic regions.

Our Yala Peak and Langtang Valley trek offers a blend of comfort and adventure, from cozy hotels to camping under the stars. Your journey begins in Kathmandu with a stay at Hotel Manaslu, a welcoming retreat where you can relax before heading into the mountains. Along the trail, you'll stay in traditional teahouses, including a stop at Lama Hotel, a peaceful lodge nestled in the lush forests of the Langtang Valley. As you ascend higher into the valley, the accommodations become more remote, and for the final stages of the trek, you’ll swap teahouses for tents, camping beneath the vast Himalayan sky. Sleeping under the stars in this breathtaking alpine wilderness adds an extra sense of adventure, making the journey to Yala Peak an unforgettable experience.
