Tryfan stands as one of Eryri's/Snowdonia's most iconic peaks, where the legendary North Ridge presents an exhilarating adventure for hikers, while the steeper cliffs of the East and West face offer some of the best mountaineering in the country.

Our Experience Mountaineering Guided Days are perfect for those with previous scrambling experience looking to try out some mountaineering on Tryfan's east or west faces to the summit of Tryfan. You won't need any roped scrambling experience as your guides will take care of everything and ensure the day is pitched perfectly for your previous experience and ability.

All the routes we use would be grades 2-3 and are suitable for walkers trying out mountaineering for the first time. All you need is hiking clothing and equipment - extras like helmets and harnesses will be provided for free on the day.

Your guides for this event will be fully qualified Mountaineering Instructors who work full-time in the mountains and have extensive experience working in Eryri and Tryfan's mountaineering routes. All of our instructors are also full members of The Association of Mountaineering Instructors and hold advanced first-aid certificates.
