Our Guided Tryfan North Ridge Scramble is perfect for hill walkers with some previous mountain walking or scrambling experience. With our qualified and experienced instructors leading the way, we handle the route-finding and critical decision-making, allowing you to enjoy a safe, stress-free ascent and a memorable day in the mountains. Ability Level

To attend this day you will need some previous hillwalking and scrambling experience with a few grade 1 scrambles under your belt. If you don’t have any experience why not join our Introduction to Scrambling course in Snowdonia to gain more confidence on this type of terrain. 

Fear of heights

Most people have a fear of heights and our instructors are trained to give you coping strategies and improve your confidence. You can expect to receive plenty of coaching on footwork, and tips for moving over steep ground which will improve your confidence throughout the day.

You dont need to be super fit to join this event just a sense of adventure and some hill-walking experience. 

This course meets in Ogwen Valley at the foot of Tryfan. Full meeting details will be sent out once your booking has been received.

Its hard to put a time on this event but we normally aim to get you up and back down no later than 3pm. Some parties will be quicker and some slower if they have less experience on scrambling terrain.

A full kit list will be sent out when your booking has been received. You need hill-walking clothing and boots or approach shoes.

Just got back from a fantastic weekend with Matt on the Welsh 3k and couldn't have asked for a better time. We had blue skies and cool air so it wasn't too hot and the views were simply incredible. Matt set a great pace allowing us to push our limits but never going beyond what we were capable of and we finished in 18 hours 32 mins.
