Course Info
Fastpacking is best described as fast light and overnight where you head into the hills for a multi-day trail running adventure. It has become hugely popular for established hiking routes like the Pennine Way, Tour du Mont Blanc and the Haute Route with the minimalistic style allowing you to cover large distances in less than half of the normal hiking time.
Our two-day Fastpacking Introduction is a perfect initiation into multi-day running and will show you all the equipment you need to run and camp in the mountains. You will learn about planning, equipment and how to navigate. You will also look at camp craft, personal safety and what to do in an emergency. We will also put all the skills covered in day 1 to practice that evening with a camp out at a campsite along route.
This is the most comprehensive Fastpacking course in the UK and will get you fired up to get out and have your own multi-day fastpacking trips.
